Did you know it was the first train station established in any Australian city (1854)? And by 1926, It surpassed Paris’ Gare Saint-Lazare, New York’s Grand Central Station, and London’s Liverpool Street Station as the busiest passenger station in the world.

Some paranormal enthusiasts claim to have heard female voices inside the building.
